BOOK GROUP READING FOR 2011-2012

The Book Group for both Deer Park and Calvin folk meets monthly 8 times a year on the second Tuesday at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. The only requirement is that you have read the book - or at least enough that you can participate in the discussion by adding to it, by asking questions, o by listening with understanding. These are the books for the 2011-2012 year:

AVENUE CLUB

The Avenue Club is for seniors and is non-denominational and non-sectarian.  Visitors are always welcome.  The group enjoys slide presentations, guest speakers, refreshments and conversation.  The Avenue Club Spring Luncheon will be Monday June 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon.  Enjoy lunch and speaker, Wayne Reeves, Chief Curator, Museums & Heritage Services, City of Toronto. Cost: $12 (includes lunch). All events are held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 26 Delisle Avenue, one block north and west of Yonge and St. Clair.
