Minister: The Rev. Dr. Deborah Hart

Deborah was called to DPUC in January 2014. Deborah’s ministry has mostly been centred in Toronto at Royal York Road United Church, Eglinton St. George’s United Church, and Deer Park United Church. She also enjoyed a year of internship in Vancouver and 3 years on a 3-point rural pastoral charge on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border after ordination.

Deborah’s first degree is in Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto. She has her Master of Divinity from Emmanuel College, Toronto School of Theology, and her Doctor of Ministry from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She cares about the whole person – body, mind and spirit!  With a love for pastoral ministry, Deborah has taken special training in the area of Grief and facilitates 6-week Grief Support Groups in churches and the community.

Beyond ministry, Deborah enjoys interfaith clergy curling, photography and travel.

Administrator: Sharon Adamson

Sharon is the personal face of the church during the week and the provider of administrative support services. She has worked as field director for a national market research firm and for many years was general manager for the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Aside from her work at the church, her primary interests are music and researching her family history. She has been a member of the Toronto Chamber Choir for many years and also serves on the board of Exultate Chamber Singers. As for the family history, with names like “Smith” and “Jones” in her tree, it’s a good thing that she enjoys a bit of a challenge!
